and the latest Honda news

Honda Swept the Series and it wasn’t Close! 🏀

Honda just put up a stat line that would make a #1 seed proud with not one, not two, not three, not four (you get it)— BUT seven 2026 Consumer Choice Awards from Kelley Blue Book, more than any other brand. Wowzers!
But what else is new? And these aren’t niche exhibition awards either. We’re talking about important awards like:
Best Overall Brand
Most Trusted Brand
Best Value Brand
Best In-Vehicle Experience Brand
Best Performance Brand
Best Car Styling Brand
Best Overall EV/Hybrid Brand
That’s a full-court performance. Offense. Defense. And good bench depth!

Honda but with 🏀
What makes this hit a little different is how these awards are decided. T
hey come from real shopper data, meaning over 12,000 people actively researching their next vehicle. So it’s less “corporate industry opinion” and more “what real buyers actually think”
And this isn’t new territory. Honda now has 44 total Kelley Blue Book wins, including 10 Best Overall Brand titles in the last 13 years and 12 straight Best Value Brand wins. At this point, it’s a dynasty. Move over, Bill Russel and the Celtics.
It’s game point and Honda has the ball working towards another championship ring. Again…what else is new?
Why did YOU choose Honda? |
Passport gets the call-up to the ‘Best New Cars’ Roster!

You already know Honda doesn’t build cars meant to sit on the bench all game. Yikes, sorry I had to do it. It’s the NBA playoffs right now so bear with me.
Think of the Honda Passport as the modern NBA ‘wing’ aka the player who can do it all. He can shoot. He can guard the perimeter and step into the paint when he needs to. In this case the paint is actually the dirt, or gravel, or snow, or mud, or or or. You get it!
But anyways, it’s easy to see how the Passport earns its spot on AutoTrader’s Best New Cars list.
Rugged, squared design
Spacious and easy-to-live-with cabin
V6 engine that offers robust power for offroad
Real off-road capability without losing its roadside manners.
and current commuter darling of many.
Since its introduction, the 4th-gen Passport has shown strong momentum, proving to be a record-breaker in 2025, with the TrailSport trim being a fan favorite!
The folks from Autotrader especially noted the Passport’s updated design direction, focusing on the interior being a noteworthy surprise with nice materials where they count and harder materials in areas with foot traffic with comfy seats for long trips!
The result is a Passport that continues to define itself as a well-rounded SUV capable of handling pretty much everything so come check one out now!

The Affordability Report is Here

The latest Cars.com Best Value New Cars report is out, and Honda once again shows up where it tends to live: near the top of the value conversation.
For 2026, the Best Value New Cars awards recognized three Honda models as top finishers in their segments:
Honda CR-V LX — Best Value Compact SUV
Honda Passport RTL — Best Value Mid-Size SUV
Honda Ridgeline Sport — Best Value Mid-Size Pickup Truck
Each one landed as a Top Finisher in its category, reinforcing a simple idea: Honda continues to deliver everyday capability without pushing buyers into premium pricing territory.
That context matters this year. According to industry benchmarks cited in the report, the average new-vehicle transaction price in the U.S. sits above $46,000, while Honda’s lineup continues to stay meaningfully below that line across key models.
So what are you waiting for?
