2024 Honda Prologue: Trim Details

2024 Honda Prologue on a cliff-side highway

Between the EX, Touring, and Elite models, the 2024 Honda Prologue has something for everyone. So let’s get to it! Here are the trim details you asked for.

My favorite feature? I'm so glad you asked, email friend. It'd have to be the 11.3-inch infotainment system. Wireless Apple CarPlay? Heck yeah, I’m ready to ditch the cable and connect in style. 😎

I’m also a big fan of the 12-speaker Bose audio system. The 12-speakers (not ten, not eleven, but TWELVE) would certainly enhance my car karaoke sessions. 🎶🎤

What feature of the 2024 Prologue do you think is your favorite? (Reply to this email and I'll send you a song for your next highway drive) 🔊

Blast From the Past: The 1996 Honda CR-V

It's 1996. Minivans and wood-paneled station wagons have taken over the highways, and lucky for us the Honda CR-V is born. Perhaps the perfect minivan-station-wagon-combo to rule them all. 👑

Wanna go camping? No problem, this 1996 Honda CR-V comfortably transforms into a flat bed. Wanna eat a sandwich and play a game of cards? You got it dude, this CR-V has a portable picnic table in the trunk. 🥪🃏

Besides this gem's interior versatility, the 1996 CR-V featured a single engine with power distributed to all corners through a five-speed manual, or four-speed automatic transmission option. Not to mention, the scaled-up headlights made this vehicle the talk of the 1996 town. ✨

The CR-V these days still rocks that original charm and style! Whether it’s ‘96 or ‘24, the CR-V is the perfect blend of rugged and sophisticated, with even more options now to choose from. Maybe even a Hydrogen CR-V? More on that later.

I gotta admit, I’ve got my eye on that 2024 CR-V Sport Hybrid… 👀 Are you thinking about it too? Check them out at Holler Honda.

Honda Teases Hydrogen CR-V

We've already taken a peek at the Hydrogen CR-V (checkout our past issues here), and Honda released another sneak peek at this FCEV (Fuel-Cell Electric Vehicle) in this video. Check it out, there's even a guy plugging his coffee maker into the car, then sitting at a PICNIC TABLE! What a cool full-circle moment / nod to the OG '96 CR-V.

Now I know, "Isn't hydrogen less accessible these days?". Yes, and Shell closing their filling stations doesn't make things any easier. BUT! Lemme remind you that this FCEV has a lithium-ion battery that can be charged with a plug.

IONNA sets out to “Charge North America”

They charge (with money) and they charge (with power). Ha, good one.

Ever thought about buying an EV then thought "but how will I charge it on the road?!". Me too, pal, me too. In fact, so many people list this as their main reason for not considering an EV (apart from other reasons).

Well, IONNA is on a mission to try and solve that problem. In partnership with BMW, General Motors, Honda, Hyundai, Kia, Mercedes-Benz, and Stellantis, IONNA is striving to "Charge North America" with installing 30,000 chargers across North America.

In attempts to achieve customer comfort, IONNA is hoping to include amenities of restrooms, food service, and retail operations with their charging stations. (If it's anything like Buccees, I am absolutely on board).

These stations are expected to open in the U.S. in 2024, followed by expansion into Canada (eh) at a later stage. Read more about the High-Powered EV Charging Network in the Honda Newsroom.

That's all, folks! I hope you enjoyed this month's Holler Honda newsletter. How'd I do? Hit the poll, drop a comment, or zap me a reply email.

And hey, follow us on social media - our socials guy could really use the boost (seriously, sometimes I worry about him).

Don't forget to spread the word about your favorite car newsletter to all of your pals.

See you next time!
